Den er trolig blant de ti vakreste sedaner som noensinne er produsert. Konkurrentene er andre 4-seter sedaner som AMG Mercedes-Benz GT-R, Porsche Panamera og Masearti Quattroporte. Rapide dukket opp i 2010 og ble avl\u00f8st av en ny modellserie, kalt Rapide S, fra modell\u00e5ret 2014. Den nye modellen fikk flere hestekrefter og en ny front med en stor monoframe grill med liggende ribber. I tillegg til \u00e5 gi luft til motoren, s\u00f8rger den store grillen for \u00e5 sende luftstr\u00f8m til bremser og komponenter under bilen. Alle Aston Martins blir n\u00e5 produsert i <a href=\"https:\/\/www.astonmartin.com\/en\/archived-content\/media-centre\/company\/gaydon-headquarters\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Gaydon, England<\/strong><\/a>. Med 470 hk kan den gj\u00f8re 0-100 km\/t p\u00e5 5,1 sekunder. I Rapide S fikk bilene 550 hk og kjappere akselerasjon.
