Et bredt amerikansk-inspirert glis av en bil.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<p>Etter bare 3 \u00e5r i produksjon ble Opel Rekord P2 byttet ut med en helt ny modell &#8211; Rekord A. \u00c5ret f\u00f8r hadde Opel lansert en helt ny Kadett-modell &#8211; internt kalt <em>Kadett A<\/em>. Kanskje var det derfor etterf\u00f8lgeren etter P2 ble kalt &laquo;A&raquo; og ikke P3. Det kan virke som Opel ville fornye modellprogrammet sitt. Rekord A fremsto i alle fall som langt mer moderne enn forgjengeren med hensyn til design. Men under skallet har de to modellene mer til felles enn man skulle tro.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nMotorprogrammet besto av samme motorer som tidligere, men n\u00e5 med flere hestekrefter. Det var 1500, 1700 og 1700 S (med \u00f8kt kompresjon). 3-trinns manuell gearkasse var standard p\u00e5 1500 og 1700, men man kunne bestille 4-trinns gearkasser. De var standard p\u00e5 1700 S. Fortsatt var det trommelbremser p\u00e5 alle 4 hjul og stiv bakaksel. En ny framaksel ga bedre kj\u00f8reegenskaper p\u00e5 svingete veier. Det som skilte de to modellene, visuelt sett, var i korte trekk frontlys, grill, bakparti med baklys. De store endringene var at Rekord B fikk nye motorer.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nFra 1964 produserte Opel ogs\u00e5 en Opel Rekord A 2.6 med rekkeseker &#8211; alts\u00e5 med samme motor som i Opel Kapit\u00e4n fra samme \u00e5r. Jeg vet ikke om denne varianten noen sinne ble tatt inn til Norge, og det ser ikke ut til \u00e5 v\u00e6re noen Rekord A med denne motoren i kj\u00f8ret\u00f8yregisteret.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Mange utf\u00f8relser<\/h3>\n<p>Rekord A kunne f\u00e5es som 2 og 4-d\u00f8rer sedan, coup\u00e9, 3-d\u00f8rer Caravan og 3-d\u00f8rer varebil uten vinduer bak B-stolpene. Valgmulighetene med hensyn til lakkfarger var mange. Det ble solgt to varianter med dette karosseriet &#8211; en 3-d\u00f8rs stasjonsvogn og en 3-d\u00f8rs varebil uten sidevinder bak B-stolpen.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Om bildene<\/h3>\n<p>Jeg har kun opplevd Rekord A som passasjer p\u00e5 1970-tallet. Bilene var flotte ungdomsbiler og mange gikk som pilsnerbiler i raggarmilj\u00f8er. Det kan v\u00e6re en \u00e5rsak til at det finnes f\u00e5 biler igjen p\u00e5 veien. Den gr\u00f8nne 2-d\u00f8rs sedan er avbildet mens den deltok p\u00e5 Veteranbildag i Skien 2026. Den bl\u00e5 stasjonsvognen var utstilt under Ekebergmarkedet v\u00e5ren 2026.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Se ogs\u00e5<\/h3>\n<p><figure id=\"attachment_70124\"
