Dav\u00e6rende CEO over Nissan-konsernet hadde blitt s\u00e5 betatt av musikalen \u00abMy Fair Lady\u00bb at han ville oppkalle etterf\u00f8lgende sportsbiler etter musikalen. Dette skjedde i 1961, og selv om bilene ble solgt under andre navn, omtales de i dag ogs\u00e5 som Fairlady. Da Datsun lanserte sin helt nye Z-serie for modell\u00e5ret 1970, fikk den modellbetegnelsen Fairlady Z. I 2002 ble Nissan 350Z lansert som den femte Fairlady Z &#8211; ogs\u00e5 kalt <em>Fairlady Z33<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Modellhistorikk<\/h3>\n<p>Nissan 350Z ble satt i produksjon som \u00e5rsmodell 2003. Man kan vel si at det ikke var noen lett oppgave \u00e5 etterf\u00f8lge legendariske modeller som 240Z, 260Z, 280ZX og 300ZX. Nissan brukte 3 \u00e5r p\u00e5 \u00e5 komme frem til en verdig etterf\u00f8lger.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nModellen baserer seg p\u00e5 Nissans FM-plattform som ogs\u00e5 blant annet ble benyttet av <em>Nissan V35 Skyline<\/em> og <em>Infinity G35<\/em> med en front-midtplassert selvaspirerende 3.5 liter V6 24V motor med 291 hk.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nI 2006 fikk modellen en facelift og i 2007 fikk den en oppgradert 3.5 liters motor med flere hestekrefter. Den har hatt en rolle i \u201cFast and the Furious&raquo;-filmene og fremst\u00e5r som nettopp det &#8211; fast og furious. Bilene omsettes for mellom 200.000 og 300.000 NOK, avhengig av km-stand. I dag er det 141 biler i kj\u00f8ret\u00f8yregisteret &#8211; alle registrert f\u00f8r 2006 facelift.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Om bildene<\/h3>\n<p>Hovedbildet av den bl\u00e5 bilen er fotografert ved det gamle flyt\u00e5rnet p\u00e5 Fornebu.
