Forskjellene var begrenset til navne-merker og grillm\u00f8nster. I likhet med Austin representerte 1100\/1300-modellene seg som moderne da de dukket opp i 1962. Konseptet med ett hjul i hvert hj\u00f8rne, tverrstilt motor og forhjulsdrift var tidligere innf\u00f8rt i Mini &#8211; og Morris 1100\/1300 var teknisk sett en utvidelse av Mini med samme konsept. De nye modellene fikk Hydralastic fj\u00e6ringssystem &#8211; komfortabelt og plassbesparende. Motorene ble arvet fra Mini &#8211; BMC A-serie 1100 og 1275 ccm (1300).<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Modellhistorikk<\/h3>\n<p>Modellen ble produsert fra h\u00f8sten 1962 til 1974. Man kunne f\u00e5 modellen enten med 2 d\u00f8rer eller 4 d\u00f8rer.
