Den neste 3-serie \u2013 med intern kode E30 \u2013 dukket opp som 1983-modell &#8211; snart 40 \u00e5r siden. Men n\u00e5r jeg ser en tidlig BMW E30, tenker jeg ikke p\u00e5 noe som er s\u00e5 gammelt. E30 har en sv\u00e6rt enkel form og linjef\u00f8ring. Formgiveren, <em>Claus Luthe<\/em>, tegnet blant annet ogs\u00e5 den vakre NSU Ro-80. Siste produksjons\u00e5r var 1993. BMW utf\u00f8rte en midtlivs facelift p\u00e5 1988-modellen. Endringene omfattet blant annet ny frontst\u00f8tfanger, nye baklys og endringer i interi\u00f8ret. Det ble ogs\u00e5 gjort oppgraderinger i motorprogrammet for de minste motorene 1,6 og 1,8. 316i fikk elektronisk bensininnspr\u00f8ytning (Bosch Motronic) og 99 HK. 318 fikk flere hester &#8211; 112 HK. Motorprogrammet besto av 316i, 318i, 320i og 325i. FR, 2016).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>BMW M3 hadde mindre til felles med standardmodellene enn man skulle tro. Mange av karosseridelene var endret, understellet var endret og motorene i M3-seriene fantes ikke i standardbilprogrammet. Motorene besto av 2,3 og 2,5-motorer som ikke var rekkeseksere, men rekkefirere. 2,5-motoren i siste M3-serie (EVO Sport) ytet 235 HK.<\/p>\n<p>Bildet av M3 er tatt utenfor kasinoet i Saint-Cyprien, Frankrike.
