I 1951 kom Aronde som umiddelbart ble en salgssuksess. Etter overtakelsen av Fords fabrikk i Frankrike fikk Simca Vedette med i modellutvalget. Andre popul\u00e6re modeller var Simca 1000, 1300\/1500 og Simca 1100. I 1970 byttet Simca navn og ble Chrysler France. Simca ble senere overtatt av PSA og byttet navn til Talbot.
