Ritmo fikk en facelift fra 1983-modellene med ny front, ny hekk og nytt interi\u00f8r. Det nye designet ble langt mer &laquo;mainstream&raquo; og Ritmo mistet noe av s\u00e6rpreget sitt. Fiat tok ogs\u00e5 grep for \u00e5 bedre kvaliteten p\u00e5 bilene. Det ble tidlig oppdaget b\u00e5de rust og tekniske problemer ved de f\u00f8rste bilene. Serie 1-biler ser riktignok morsommere ut &#8211; men jeg ville valgt faceliftede biler fra modell\u00e5ret 1983. Den har mer markert grill, separate st\u00f8tfangere og uten det spesielle luftinntaket p\u00e5 panseret. For mellom 100 000 og 150 000 f\u00e5r du en pen serie 2-bil med 3-d\u00f8rer, 130 TC motor p\u00e5 130 HK eller 105 TC med 105 HK. Helrenoverte biler eller biler med ekstremt lav km-stand g\u00e5r for mer. Bestemor-kj\u00f8rte biler med mindre motorer uten synlig rust ligger p\u00e5 omtrent 50 000 i Mellom- og Syd-Europa. Modellbetegnelsen angir antall hester, s\u00e5 som Ritmo 60 (1,1 liter 60 HK), Ritmo 75 (1,5 liter 75 HK), Ritmo 85, og s\u00e5 videre. Velger du en serie-1 bil har du Ritmo 125 TC. Plattform og motorer var hentet fra Ritmo. I dag er det vanskelig \u00e5 oppdrive en kj\u00f8rbar Regata. De manglet noe av det sportslige preget som Ritmo hadde, spesielt de med st\u00f8rre motorer. Dessuten har kombi-coupeer, som Ritmo, v\u00e6rt langt mer popul\u00e6re enn sedaner. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Kj\u00f8reopplevelser<\/h3>\n<p>Jeg har kj\u00f8rt Fiat <em>Regata<\/em>, sedanversjonen av Ritmo. Det var fjellveier og jeg husker at motoren beh\u00f8vde godt med turtall for \u00e5 dra. Kj\u00f8remessig var den eksakt som andre latinske biler p\u00e5 den tiden. Girkassa og styringen stimulerte ikke til sportslig kj\u00f8ring. Jeg husker ogs\u00e5 at en interi\u00f8rbit av hardplast falt av over vaskebrettene. Men jeg skal gladelig tilf\u00f8ye at jeg opplevde h\u00f8y feelgood-faktor bak rattet. F\u00f8rst og fremst var setene gode og lydbildet flott, &#8211; fin eksoslyd!<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Om bildene<\/h3>\n<p>Det blir kanskje feil \u00e5 sammenligne standard Ritmo\/Regata mot de bilene som er avbildet her. Den norske, r\u00f8de med Abarth-merket i grillen er helt str\u00f8ken. Det er en Ritmo TC 130 som du kan se mer av i YouTube-klippet under. Den franske bilen er avbildet i Saint-Cyprien ved Middelhavet, umiddelbart f\u00f8r et nattlig rally for historiske biler langs franske landeveier.
