GM&#8217;s amerikanske modeller. En vakker, liten bil som i flere \u00e5r var et vanlig syn p\u00e5 veiene. I dag er de nesten borte. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Kort om Vauxhall Viva HB<\/h3>\n<p>Vauxhall Viva HB er vakre biler med en typisk Coke-bottle fasong. De hadde gode veiegenskaper takket v\u00e6re bedre fj\u00e6ring enn konkurrentene p\u00e5 samme tid. Bilene med det minste motoralternativet var blant de billigste p\u00e5 norske prislister, og Vauxhall Viva ble et vanlig innslag i trafikkbildet. Dessverre finnes sv\u00e6rt f\u00e5 igjen i dag, mye p\u00e5 grunn av rust, men ogs\u00e5 fordi mange ikke ser noen verdi i \u00e5 bevare dem. S\u00f8rgelig nok heller ikke i Vauxhall&#8217;s hjemland, England.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Modellhistorikk<\/h3>\n<p>De f\u00f8rste bilene ble satt i produksjon i 1966 som 1967 \u00e5rsmodell. Viva HB ble etterfulgt av Viva HC h\u00f8sten 1970 &#8211; da som 1971 \u00e5rsmodell. Basismodellen fikk en motor p\u00e5 1159 ccm, mens man \u00e5ret etter kunne bestille Viva GT med 2.0 liters motor med to Str\u00f8mberg-forgassere, tettsteget 4-trinns girkasse med differensialbrems. To \u00e5r etter introduksjonen kunne man ogs\u00e5 f\u00e5 Viva med 1600-motorer. Videre kunne man ogs\u00e5 f\u00e5 Viva som en stilig Estate-modell i form av 3 d\u00f8rer stasjonsvogn. Den mest popul\u00e6re varianten var 2-d\u00f8rs sedan, men fra 1969 kunne man ogs\u00e5 f\u00e5 Viva med 4 d\u00f8rer. De to bilene bygger p\u00e5 felles plattform, mens etterf\u00f8lgerne, Viva HB og Kadett B, hadde ingen  sammenfallende komponenter. Vauxhall Viva var alts\u00e5 100% utviklet i England, riktignok med stor innflytelse fra GM&#8217;s amerikanske modeller. Viva fikk et mer dristig design enn den tyske Opel Kadett, og p\u00e5 ett omr\u00e5de overgikk Vauxhall Viva HB sin &laquo;fetter&raquo; Opel Kadett. Viva HB fikk en mer avansert bakfj\u00e6ring enn de f\u00f8rste \u00e5rsmodellene av Opel Kadett. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_61842\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-61842\"
