Med internbetegnelsen &laquo;C1&raquo; kan Audi 100 betegnes som f\u00f8rste Audi. Audi 60 hadde r\u00f8tter hos DKW, og bar internbetegnelsen &laquo;F103&raquo;, som er en DKW-betegnelse. Det er derfor vi kan kalle Audi 100 for den f\u00f8rste moderne Audi.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Modellhistorikk<\/h3>\n<p>C1 ble laget som 2- og 4-d\u00f8rs sedan og Coupe. For modell\u00e5ret 1974 fikk modellene en mild facelift. De innvidde kan se at kromlisten, som omkranser frontlys og grill, fikk en liten knekk p\u00e5 \u00f8verste hj\u00f8rner.
