Ett av n\u00e5tidens mest vellykkede design er utvilsomt Chrysler 300. Crossfire sine hovedlys minner om 300-modellen. Horisontale ribber p\u00e5 forskjermene minner om flammelakkering &#8211; et design-element i tr\u00e5d med modellbetegnelsen Crossfire. Det sportslige preget forsterkes ogs\u00e5 ved at bakhjulene ble levert med st\u00f8rre felgdimensjon &#8211; 19 tommer i forhold til 18 tommer foran. En hekkspoiler l\u00f8fter seg automatisk opp under spesielle forhold for \u00e5 gi \u00f8kt stabilitet.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nModellen ble levert enten som coup\u00e9 med fast tak og som roadster med kalesje. Avrundingen over taket p\u00e5 Coup\u00e9-varianten er ikke bare Art Deco. <em>Jeremy Clarkson<\/em> forklarte p\u00e5 TV-programmet <em>Top Gear<\/em> at krummingen minnet ham om en hund som setter seg ned for \u00e5 b\u00e6sje. Etter at man har sett dette TV-innslaget, er det umulig \u00e5 ikke tenke denne likheten n\u00e5r man ser en Crossfire i profil. Dessverre. Alt under skallet p\u00e5 modellen er faktisk identisk med Mercedes-Benz SLK R170. Men Chrysler fikk kun V6-motorer &#8211; ikke de 4-sylindrede motorene fra SLK. De to motorene som ble tilbudt i Crossfire var 3,2 V6 (standard) og 3,2 V6 Supercharged fra AMG med 5-trinns automat i i SRT-6 utgaven. Det ga en akselerasjon fra 0-60 mph p\u00e5 7 sekunder.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Som hobbybil<\/h3>\n<p>Chrysler Crossfire ble produsert fra 2003 til ut kalender\u00e5ret 2007, noe som tilsvarer omtrent 4,5 \u00e5r. I Norge er det for \u00f8yeblikket 29 biler, og nesten alle er f\u00f8rstegangsregistrert i Norge. Etter nesten 20 \u00e5r er de \u00e5 regne som &laquo;youngtimers&raquo;. Alle slitasjedeler er identiske med Mercedes-Benz SLK R170. Crossfire deler ogs\u00e5 de samme problemene. Ett av dem er SKREEM (Sentry Key Remote Entry System) som hos Mercedes-Benz kalles DAS (Drive Authorisation System). Signalene fra n\u00f8kkelen rekker ikke frem til dataenheten hvis bilen har st\u00e5tt en stund, noe som resulterer i at bilen nekter \u00e5 starte. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n<figure
