De var faktisk popul\u00e6re i Norge, ogs\u00e5, &#8211; p\u00e5 60-tallet, blant annet av dav\u00e6rende Televerket og NSB. Modellen er i ferd med \u00e5 f\u00e5 en renessanse i kj\u00f8lvannet av Citro\u00ebn Type H&#8217;s enorme popularitet. Det sp\u00f8rs om Renault noen sinne oppn\u00e5r samme status, men de er morsomme biler hvor mange ser ut til \u00e5 ha greidd seg bra med hensyn til rust og s\u00e5nt.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">G\u00f4elette kontra Citroen<\/h3>\n<p>Det er n\u00e6rliggende \u00e5 sammenligne med Citroen Type H. De var konkurrenter, men ogs\u00e5 sv\u00e6rt ulike. Renault hadde valgt en tradisjonell konstruksjon med ramme, bakhjulsdrift og stive aksler. Dette i motsetning til Citroens selvb\u00e6rende karosseri med forhjulsdrift og uavhengig fj\u00e6ring p\u00e5 alle hjul. Forskjellene mellom de to modellene er aktuell den dag i dag. Rammebygde biler er jo mer solide og kan t\u00e5le mer vekt, men mister noe av dynamikken man ellers finner i personbiler. Citroen fikk dessuten ros for sin lave lasteh\u00f8yde.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">To st\u00f8rrelser<\/h3>\n<p>Renault leverte biler to vektst\u00f8rrelser &#8211; den minste med nyttelast 1000 kg &#8211; den st\u00f8rste med 1400 kg. Den minste fikk navnet <em>Voltigeur<\/em> (akrobat) mens den st\u00f8rste ble solgt som G\u00f4elette. I ettertid (kanskje ogs\u00e5 i samtiden) har det v\u00e6rt vanlig kalle begge for G\u00f4elette. I Frankrike ble den minste ogs\u00e5 kjent som <em>Renault 1000 kg<\/em> rett og slett.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Motorisering<\/h3>\n<p>De omtalte nyttekj\u00f8ret\u00f8yene ble produsert mellom 1947 og 1965, &#8211; og flere motorer har v\u00e6rt benyttet &#8211; b\u00e5de bensin og diesel. Med tanke p\u00e5 at <em>G\u00f4elette<\/em> og storebroren <em>Galion<\/em> var ganske tunge kj\u00f8ret\u00f8y, var det n\u00f8dvendig for Renault \u00e5 tilby dieselmotorer. Men Renault hadde ingen egne motorer \u00e5 tilby, men produserte p\u00e5 lisens, &#8211; en 2,3 liters motor fra Alfa Romeo, og en 2-litersmotor fra Peugeot. Bensinmotorene er hentet fra de store personbil-modellene til Renault. Gjennom tidene har hestekreftene steget fra rundt 50 til 80 HK.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<figure id=\"attachment_15855\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-15855\" style=\"width: 686px\"
