Det var ikke mye som skilte de to modellene, men med 15M kunne Ford skape et ledd mellom 12M og 17M. Man kan vel si at 15M ble en litt finere versjon av 12M, med annet front- og bakparti, og finere dekor og utstyr. Motorene var fremdeles V4 i to varianter, en 1300 med 50hk og en 1500 med 65 hk &#8211; fortsatt med rattgir og forhjulsdrift som sin forgjenger. Forhjulsopphenget var nytt &#8211; av type McPherson, mens det var stiv bakaksel og bladfj\u00e6rer bak. Modellene kunne leveres som 2- og 4-d\u00f8rer sedan, 3-d\u00f8rer stasjonsvogn og varebil, samt coup\u00e9. De nye modellene dukket opp p\u00e5 h\u00f8sten 1966 som 1967-modeller. De fikk en liten endring fra 1968 med mattsvart dashboard og polstret ratt. TS-modellen kunne n\u00e5 leveres med 1700 V4 motor. Fra 1969 fikk de et helt nytt dashboard hvor det liggende speedometeret ble byttet ut med runde klokker. Bilene fikk ogs\u00e5 3-eket ratt &#8211; samme som alle europeiske Ford&#8217;er fikk. Fra 1969 fikk man biler med mattsvart interi\u00f8r med treimitasjon og Recaro-seter, svart taktrekk, midtkonsoll med 4 sportsklokker, gulvgir og sportsfelger. Bilen i hovedbildet er en 15M RS i s\u00f8lv metallic. Man kunne ogs\u00e5 f\u00e5 RS med r\u00f8d lakk. Det var firmabil for ESAB i Larvik. Med over 40000 km i \u00e5ret beh\u00f8vde han en god bil. Han hadde tidligere kj\u00f8rt Ford 17 M 1700 Turnier (3 d\u00f8rer varebil), men foretrakk 12M&#8217;en fordi den hadde forhjulstrekk. Som guttunge var jeg med p\u00e5 mange av jobbturene over fjellet til vestlandet. Det finnes knapt koseligere motorlyd enn V-4. Dessuten var 12M en vakker bil, svakt kileformet med en liten hofteknekk bak.
