Ofte finner man ikke ut s\u00e5nt f\u00f8r mange \u00e5r senere. I en tid da vanlige familiebiler hadde 3-bokskonsept &#8211; ofte bare med 2 d\u00f8rer, &#8211; produserte Renault en 5-d\u00f8rs kombikupe med god plass takket v\u00e6re plassbesparende hjuloppheng\/fj\u00e6ring (torsjonsstag) og forhjulsdrift. Da modellen kom p\u00e5 markedet i 1965 var den nesten helt alene om kombikupe-konseptet. 15 \u00e5r senere &#8211; da den gikk ut av produksjon &#8211; kunne flere av bilprodusentene fremdeles ikke tilby familiebiler etter kombikupe-konseptet.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Modellhistorikk<\/h3>\n<p>Modellene fikk sm\u00e5 endringer nesten hvert \u00e5r. Det var ingen stor facelift eller lignende. Det kan derfor v\u00e6re vanskelig  \u00e5 finne eksakt modell\u00e5r bare ved \u00e5 studere det ytre. En synlig endring var baklysene som i 1971 ble st\u00f8rre og rektangul\u00e6re. Tidligere var de avrundede. 1972-modellen fikk Renaults da nye logo i grillen. TS, som kom i 1968, fikk en 1,6 liters motor. Fra 1971 ble 1,6 liters motoren basis for alle modeller. TX, som kom i 1974, fikk en 1,7 liters motor og fem-trinns girkasse. I f\u00f8lge <a href=\"https:\/\/carfolio.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>carfolio.com<\/strong><\/a> yter TX 94 HK ved 6000 omdreininger og har maks dreiemoment p\u00e5 129 Nm ved 4000 omdreininger.
