Estafette ble bygget som 500\/600, 800 og 1000 kg nyttelast. Bilene med 500 kg nyttelast var laget p\u00e5 grunn av lovmessige vektkrav. Estafette med nyttelast p\u00e5 800 kg ble kalt <em>Estafette 800.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Flere varianter<\/h3>\n<p>Estafette ble laget med forlenget akselavstand og med hevet tak, pickup, campingbil med og uten sovealkove og mobilt gatekj\u00f8kken. Versjonen med vinduer rundt det hele, ble kalt <em>Alouette<\/em>. Da Estafette dukket opp i 1959, var det med motorer fra Dauphine. Fra 1962 ble varebilene utstyrt med den da nye 1100-motoren. Senere, p\u00e5 slutten av 60-tallet kom 1300-motoren, som senere ble brukt i Renault 12. Sett med dagens \u00f8yne, kan man jo si at dette var spinkel motorisering av varebiler. Estafette kunne ikke tilby dieselmotor f\u00f8r i 1973. Drivverket var frontmontert motor med forhjulsdrift. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Estafette og Alouette som hobbybil?<\/h3>\n<p>Renault samarbeidet med egne campingvogn-produsenter for \u00e5 lage bobiler av Estafette. \u00c9n av dem hadde sovealkove over f\u00f8rerplassen &#8211; en annen var basert p\u00e5 en vanlig utgave med hevet tak. Estafette utstyrt som campingbil, vil egne seg supert til nostalgi-camping. Alouette &#8211; bussvarianten &#8211; er en konkurrent til Volkswagen-busser, selv om inventaret er heller simpelt sett med dagens \u00f8yne. Flere  har ettermontert p\u00e5kostede seter og mer h\u00f8yverdig innredning.
