Caterham 7 kan s\u00e5ledes betraktes som en &laquo;Continuation Model&raquo;. Modellen er still going strong, og har gjennomg\u00e5tt l\u00f8pende forbedringer og oppgraderinger. I forhold til originalen skal chassiset v\u00e6re strukket og forsterket for \u00e5 romme st\u00f8rre motorer &#8211; og sj\u00e5f\u00f8rer. Det er vel ingen hemmelighet at ikke hvem som helst kunne finne plass i en original Lotus Seven. Det er ikke flust med plass i Caterham, heller. Men det er en del av konseptet. Ett av stegene er \u00e5 arrangere produksjonslokale i din egen garasje. et annet steg er \u00e5 f\u00e5 bilen godkjent. N\u00e6rmeste forhandler er <em>Caterham Nordic<\/em> som befinner seg i L\u00f6ddek\u00f6pinge utenfor Malm\u00f6 i Sverige. Alternativt kan du velge &laquo;factory built&raquo; eller en annen ferdig bygget bil &#8211; ny eller brukt. Kj\u00f8per du ny bil, kan du f\u00e5 gleden av \u00e5 konfigurere den selv. Motorvalg er 660 cc Suzuki Turbo, 1.6 Ford Sigma, eller 2.0 Ford Duratec. Snart kommer en elektrisk variant ogs\u00e5. Prisene begynner p\u00e5 \u20ac37395 for SUPER SEVEN 600 (Suzuki). Med utstyr vil man trolig havne p\u00e5 \u00a342000, eller mer.
