Den omfatter 4-sylindrede og 6-sylindrede modeller i f\u00f8lgende varianter: 4 d\u00f8rer Sedan, 5 d\u00f8rer Touring (stasjonsvogn), 3 d\u00f8rer Compact, 2 d\u00f8rer Coup\u00e9 og Cabriolet. Det kom en midtlivs facelift i 2001 hvor Sedan og Touring fikk nye hovedlys, blinklys foran og baklys, samt endret grill, panser, frontfanger og panser. Disse endringene ble ogs\u00e5 innf\u00f8rt p\u00e5 de \u00f8vrige variantene 2 \u00e5r senere &#8211; i 2003.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Youngtimer<\/h3>\n<p>E46 er utvilsomt en fremtidig klassiker, ikke minst M3-bilene fra modell\u00e5r 2001. Motorer i M3 var 3,2 rekkesekser, men man kunne ogs\u00e5 f\u00e5 den med V8. Det riktige uttrykket \u00e5 bruke p\u00e5 E46, er &laquo;youngtimer&raquo;. Dette er biler som det enn\u00e5 finnes mange av p\u00e5 veien. <\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2ingreslbcenter\">Cabriolet<\/h3>\n<p><figure id=\"attachment_58021\"
