Den ligner sv\u00e6rt mye p\u00e5 Vedette og kunne leveres med V8 (Vedette) og 4-sylindrede motorer fra Aronde-modellen.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Stor bil &#8211; liten motor<\/h3>\n<p>Totalt er Ariane 17 cm kortere enn &laquo;storebroren&raquo; Vedette &#8211; en differanse som er oppn\u00e5dd ved endringer i hekkpartiet og enklere st\u00f8tfangerhorn. I Frankrike var skatte og avgiftssystemet basert p\u00e5 motorst\u00f8rrelse. Ved \u00e5 sette inn en liten motor fikk kundene mye bil for pengene. Panhard benyttet jo sm\u00e5 2-sylindrede motorer i fullverdige familiebiler. Simcas &laquo;Flash&raquo;-motor hadde et slagvolum p\u00e5 1300 ccm og 47 HK. Med 6 personer i bilen m\u00e5tte nok girspaken benyttes flittig. I 1958 kunne Ariane leveres med Vedettes V8-motor. Modellen ble kalt Ariane 8, og ble mer en innstegsmodell til Vedette-familien enn en Ariane. Fra 1962-modellen kunne &laquo;Super Confort&raquo; utgaven av Ariane leveres med Simcas &laquo;Rush&raquo; motor &#8211; en variant av 1300-motoren som ga mer krefter &#8211; 62 HK.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">200 000 km p\u00e5 bane<\/h3>\n<p>Ogs\u00e5 den nye &laquo;Rush&raquo; motoren var en motor \u00f8remerket for den mindre Aronde-modellen. Den var en videreutvikling av &laquo;Flash&raquo; med blant annet 5-lagret veivaksel, h\u00f8yere kompresjon og et forbedret tenningssystem. Selv med ekstra krefter var Ariane en tanke undermotorisert for sin tid. For \u00e5 vise den nye motorens slitstyrke, satte Simca i gang et prosjekt hvor en Simca Ariane med &laquo;Rush&raquo; motor under panseret kj\u00f8rte 200 000 p\u00e5 en lukket bane. Eksperimentet som ble utf\u00f8rt p\u00e5 <em>Autodrome de Miramas<\/em> i Syd-Frankrike, ble en suksess. Ikke bare for Ariane, men ogs\u00e5 for Aronde som delte samme motor. Men &laquo;Miramas&raquo; fulgte Ariane resten av sin levetid, blant annet som &laquo;continuation model&raquo; i Argentina under navnet Ariane Miramas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n<figure class=\"tebh2_first\">Som hobbybil<\/h3>\n<p>Et s\u00f8k p\u00e5 <a href=\"https:\/\/leboncoin.fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>leboncoin.fr<\/strong><\/a> (fransk Finn.no) gir 6 biler til salgs i hele Frankrike. 4 av dem er komplette biler i god stand. For disse forlanges det mellom 80 000 &#8211; 100 000 NOK. 2 biler ser ut til \u00e5 rulle for egen maskin, men krever full restaurasjon. Disse forlanges det 10 000 &#8211; 20 000 NOK for. If\u00f8lge <a href=\"https:\/\/regnr.info\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>bilregisteret<\/strong><\/a> finnes det kun 3 biler med skilter, den nyeste en 1963-modell. I registeret befinner det seg ytterligere 13 biler som enten er vraket eller kun avskiltet. Ogs\u00e5 i Frankrike er de sjeldne, skj\u00f8nt de dukker av og til opp p\u00e5 biltreff. Det kan by p\u00e5 problemer \u00e5 skaffe deler, skj\u00f8nt flere gamle Simca-verksteder <em>kan<\/em> ha slitasjedeler p\u00e5 lager. Ariane kan ha en fordel fremfor Vedette, ettersom de 4-sylindrede motorene deles med superpopul\u00e6re Aronde.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Om bildene<\/h3>\n<p>Bildet av den bl\u00e5 bilen er tatt ved et biltreff i Perpignan.
