Den fikk ogs\u00e5 egne 6-sylindrede motorer.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Modellhistorikk<\/h3>\n<p>Opel Commodore B var bygget som en luksusvariant av Opel Rekord D. Mens Rekord ble tilbudt i en rekke varianter, ble Commodore tilbudt enten som 4 d\u00f8rer sedan eller 2 d\u00f8rer coup\u00e9. Den fikk ogs\u00e5 egne motorserier, basert p\u00e5 2,5 og 2,8 liter rekkeseksere med cam-in-head, som p\u00e5 mange andre Opel-motorer. Kamakselen sitter i toppen, men betjener ikke ventilene som en OHC motor, men som en OHV motor med korte st\u00f8tstenger og vippearmer. 2,5-motoren ble levert som S eler GS, mens 2,8-motoren kunne leveres som GS eller GS\/E med Bosch elektroniske innspr\u00f8ytning. B\u00e5de Opel Rekord D og Commodore B ble produsert som \u00e5rsmodell 1972 til og med \u00e5rsmodell 1977.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2ingreslbcenter\">Commodore Sedan<\/h3>\n<p><figure
