Derfor fors\u00f8ker vi \u00e5 poste bilder av flere biler av samme modell. Det begynner \u00e5 bil en stund siden denne BMW 503 Coup\u00e9 ble fotografert. Likevel har det aldri dukket opp noen andre langs v\u00e5r vei. Merkelig? Ikke n\u00e5r man tenker p\u00e5 at det kun ble produsert 413 biler. Det skal befinne seg \u00e9n annen BMW 503 ett eller annet sted i Norge, men sannsynligheten for \u00e5 m\u00f8te den p\u00e5 veien er sv\u00e6rt liten.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">En vakker barokkengel<\/h3>\n<p>BMWs s\u00e6regne 50-tallsmodeller 501 og 502 ble p\u00e5 folkemunne kalt barokkengel. Det var utvilsomt vakre biler, men ble ingen stor suksess for BMW. Coup\u00e9-modellen 503 som f\u00f8rst dukket opp som 1956-modell, var en 2-d\u00f8rs, 2+2 seters GT-modell. Den ble levert med kun ett motoralternativ hentet fra BMW 502. 3,2 liter, 2 forgassere, 140 HK og 4-trinns manuell girkasse &#8211; serie I med rattgir, deretter gulvgir for serie II-biler. Det er ingen tvil om at det under den vakre drakten befant seg en barokkengel &#8211; i s\u00e5 fall en sv\u00e6rt vakker barokkengel.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Produksjonen varte ikke lenge<\/h3>\n<p>Produksjonstiden varte fra 1956 til mars 1959. Med tanke p\u00e5 det lekre designet og motoriseringen, kunne modellen sikkert ha v\u00e6rt produsert til langt ut over 60-tallet. Produksjonen ble imidlertid stanset p\u00e5 grunn av d\u00e5rlig l\u00f8nnsomhet. BMW 503 ble tap for fabrikken. Totalt ble det produsert 413 biler. Av disse var 270 Coup\u00e9 med fast tak og 143 cabriolet&#8217;er med elektrisk heving og senking av kalesjen.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">2 mill + +<\/h3>\n<p>Et enkelt s\u00f8k p\u00e5 <a href=\"https:\/\/suchen.mobile.de\/fahrzeuge\/search.html?damageUnrepaired=NO_DAMAGE_UNREPAIRED&#038;isSearchRequest=true&#038;makeModelVariant1.makeId=3500&#038;makeModelVariant1.modelDescription=503&#038;makeModelVariant1.modelId=1&#038;scopeId=C&#038;sfmr=false&#038;sortOption.sortBy=searchNetGrossPrice&#038;sortOption.sortOrder=ASCENDING\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>mobile.de<\/strong><\/a> etter BMW 503 forteller om priser mellom 200 &#8211; 250 000 euro for coup\u00e9er og 400 &#8211; 500 000 euro for cabriolet&#8217;er. Det er flere faktorer som tilsier h\u00f8y pris &#8211; f\u00e5 eksemplarer, bygget som kvalitetsbil, vakker og p\u00e5kostet for sin tid. Det er forunderlig at disse bilene ikke slo bedre an. BMW&#8217;ene ikke kunne hamle opp med datidens amerikanske biler med hensyn til krom og ytre dimensjoner, &#8211; men det kunne jo ikke Mercedes-Benz SL heller.
