I likhet med 488 har F8 en 3,9 liter V8 turbomotor og 7-trinns dobbeltclutch girkasse fra Getrag. Motoren yter 720 HK og har et maks dreiemoment p\u00e5 700 Nm. 0-100 er oppgitt til 2,9 sekunder og toppfarten er 340 km\/t.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nF8 er utstyrt med Ferraris <em>Dynamic Enhancer<\/em> som er et elektronisk program for drifting &#8211; en slags f\u00f8rerassistanse for \u00e5 drifte kontrollert &#8211; selvf\u00f8lgelig kun tenkt for banekj\u00f8ring. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">F\u00f8rerassistanse for kontrollert drifting<\/h3>\n<p>Funksjonen virker kun i <em>Racing mode<\/em>. Systemet er en utvidelse av det elektroniske stabilisatorprogrammet (ESP), men tillater alts\u00e5 et kontrollert slipp p\u00e5 bakenden uten \u00e5 \u00f8delegge fremdriften. Den offisielle hensikten med systemet er \u00e5 f\u00e5 bilen s\u00e5 fort som mulig gjennom banen, men det er vel ikke utenkelig at dette ogs\u00e5 kan skape h\u00f8y fun factor under aktiv
