De deler alle samme plattform. Det er stor familielikhet mellom Fiat Coupe og Alfa Romeo GTV i modell\u00e5rene fra 1994 til 2000. 4-seterne Fiat Coupe og Alfa GTV fikk blandet kritikk av bilpressen da de ble lansert. Spesielt utseendet ble oppfattet som lite spennende. Det hjalp ikke at det var designet av Pininfarina. Jeg skal innr\u00f8mme at jeg delte kritikernes oppfatning &#8211; <em>da<\/em>. Jeg synes Pininfarina ga modellene et for feminint preg. I dag, som hobbybil\/youngtimer\/future classic, synes jeg de er fine. De er spesielle og har f\u00e5 likhetstrekk med andre modeller. Midtveis i produksjonsperioden kom det en liten facelift og nye motorer. En 1,8 liter 16 ventiler med 131 HK, en 2,0 liter med 5 sylindre, 20 ventiler og 147 HK, samt en 2,0 liter turbo med 220 HK &#8211; ogs\u00e5 den med 5 sylindre og 20 ventiler.<\/p>\n\n<p><figure
