Et skikkelig dollarglis.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Roadmaster 5. generasjon<\/h3>\n<p>Roadmaster var Buick&#8217;s st\u00f8rste modell &#8211; bygget p\u00e5 den st\u00f8rste rammen og med de st\u00f8rste motorene. Modellene <em>Roadmaster<\/em> og <em>Super<\/em> kan se ganske like ut p\u00e5 avstand. Ett synlig merke er de falske luftehullene &#8211; eller eksosutslippene p\u00e5 framskjermene p\u00e5 hver side. Roadmaster har 4 luftehull p\u00e5 hver side, mens Super kun har 3. Luftehullene var et av 50-tallets kjennemerker for Buick. De har ingen praktisk funksjon &#8211; kun til pynt.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nRoadmaster ble laget i flere serier over flere generasjoner. Den avbildede modellen er nummer 5 i modellserien &#8211; sannsynligvis utstyrt med en 5,3 liters V8 (Nailhead) med 2-trinns Dynaflow automatkasse. Denne serien hadde den st\u00f8rste Chrome-tanngarden.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">En helt originalt bil<\/h3>\n<p>Den lysegr\u00f8nne 2 door Roadmaster p\u00e5 bildet over er en helt ur\u00f8rt originalbil som i dag g\u00e5r i Oslo-omr\u00e5det. Jeg har sett den flere ganger p\u00e5 veien f\u00f8r jeg fikk tatt bilde av den. Det er en 1953-modell med samme 322 &laquo;Nailhead&raquo; V8-motor (5,3 liter) som stasjonsvognen. Den har 2-stegs Dynaflow automatkasse, aircon, AM\/FM radio, power seats, power brakes, power steering og power windows. Med hvite &laquo;white wall&raquo; radialdekk er dette en klassisk amerikansk ikon. De store bilfabrikkene har hatt en &laquo;woody&raquo; i modellprogrammet sitt. I begynnelsen var det ekte treverk, men i nyere tid handler det om p\u00e5limte plast-stykker av imitert tre.
