Torino-utstillingen i 1972. Modellen ble utviklet etter at Fiat hadde overtatt. Motorene var hentet fra Fiat &#8211; alle med DOHC &#8211; 1400 ccm 90 HK, 1600 ccm 100 HK eller 1800 ccm 110 HK. Lancia var da som n\u00e5, et premium bilmerke i Fiat-konsernet. Beta fikk blant annet 5-trinns girkasser, uavhengig fj\u00e6ring p\u00e5 alle hjul og skivebremser b\u00e5de foran og bak. Modellen med skr\u00e5nende hekk ser ut som en kombicoup\u00e9, men hadde bare en luke til koffertrommet. Den opprinnelige skr\u00e5nende fronten var forut for sin tid da den ble lansert i 1972. I 1980 fikk modellen ny front, som ikke gjorde bilen s\u00e6rlig vakrere &#8211; sett med dagens \u00f8yne. Den var en 2+2 seter med kortere akselavstand og et helt annet karosseri.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Modellhistorikk<\/h3>\n<p>Den vakre coup\u00e9-modellen ble produsert mellom 1973-1984 og fikk en facelift i 1981. Den avbildede bilen i hovedbildet er en VX. Den har en supercharged 2-liters motor som yter 135 HK. Dette er den st\u00f8rste motoren i modellprogrammet, hvis man ser bort fra bilene som ble benyttet i bilsport. Gjennom \u00e5rene fikk Beta motorer fra Fiat, blant annet 1300, 1600 og 2000. Flere Fiat-motorer ble imidlertid modifisert av Lancia. Lancia var derfor ikke bare en kopi av Fiat, selv om mange vil hevde det motsatte. Alle modeller er veteranbiler, teknologien stammer fra Fiat &#8211; noe som er positivt med hensyn til deletilgang. Prismessig f\u00e5r du gode biler med sm\u00e5 motorer og lav km-stand fra 120 000 til 150 000 kroner. Biler med 2-litersmotorer og sportslige ambisjoner, som den avbildede koster gjerne mellom 200-300 000.
