Satsningen p\u00e5 en rimeligere modell skulle gj\u00f8res under navnet Dino &#8211; oppkalt etter Enzo Ferarri&#8217;s s\u00f8nn. Den f\u00f8rste utgaven var basert p\u00e5 Ferraris nye 2-liters V6-motor og fikk betegnelsen 206 GT. &laquo;206&raquo; indikerer 2,0 liter og 6 sylindre. Dino 206 GT ble produsert som modell\u00e5r 1967 og 1968. Deretter kom Dino 246 GT med slagvolum p\u00e5 2,4 og 6 sylindre (V6). Den ble produsert mellom 1969 og 1974. Hverken Dino 206 eller 246 ble formelt sett kalt Ferrari, selv om modellene ble produsert av Ferrari. Derimot ble etterf\u00f8lgeren, Dino 308, kalt Ferrari &#8211; selv om den kun hadde 8 sylindre. En &laquo;ordentlig&raquo; Ferrari p\u00e5 den tiden skulle ha 12 sylindre. 308 la grunnlaget for 8-sylindrede motorene hos Ferrari. I dag vet vi jo at etterf\u00f8lgende modeller med V8-motorer ble en stor suksess for Ferrari.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<figure id=\"attachment_94035\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-94035\"
