Harmonisk design med fullendte &laquo;shutlines&raquo;. Likevel er det ikke noe kjedelig design, med trekantede frontlys, st\u00f8tfangerhj\u00f8rner som krummer seg rundt hj\u00f8rnene, stor frontrute og masse krom. P5 (Projekt 5) omfattet Ford Taunus 17M og 20M mellom 1964-1966. P5-serien besto av 2- og 4-d\u00f8rs sedan, 3- og 5-d\u00f8rs stasjonsvogn (Turnier), samt 2-d\u00f8rs Hardtop Coup\u00e9. I tillegg kunne karosserimakeriet Carl Deutch levere 2-d\u00f8rs capriolet&#8217;er. Hel benk foran var standard, men man kunne bestille separate stoler. I 20M TS var separate stoler standard. Blant drosjer var det popul\u00e6rt \u00e5 bestille innredning i skai. Drosjesj\u00e5f\u00f8ren i mitt barndoms nabolag eide en knall r\u00f8d 20M.
