I forhold til Z1 ble Z3 mer konvensjonell, &#8211; basert p\u00e5 datidens 3-serie plattform E36 og motorisering. Z3 fikk stor popularitet, ikke minst i Norge, fordi man kunne f\u00e5 den med moderate, relativt avgiftsgunstige motorer. Da modellen kom i 1995, slo 1,8 litersmotoren p\u00e5 116 HK best an. Da ble Z3 et bra alternativ til Mazda MX-5 (Miata).<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Motorer<\/h3>\n<p>Motorene i Z3 er de samme som satt i BMW&#8217;s 3-serie p\u00e5 samme tid. Den mest popul\u00e6re motor i Norge er utvilsomt 1,8 liter 116 HK. Man kunne ogs\u00e5 f\u00e5 den med 1,9 liter 140 HK, som slo bedre an p\u00e5 kontinentet. En mer spesiell opplevelse er BMW&#8217;s 2,8 liter rekkesekser med 192 HK. Ikke bare mer krefter, men ogs\u00e5 et herlig lydbilde, noe man setter ekstra stor pris p\u00e5 i en \u00e5pen bil.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Varianter<\/h3>\n<p>Z3 ble levert i to varianter. Roadster &#8211; \u00e5pen 2-seter med stofftak eller hardtop. Senere dukket en coup\u00e9-variant opp, Det er en lukket bil med 3-d\u00f8rer og avsluttet bak som en liten stasjonsvogn, eller &laquo;shooting brake&raquo;.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Priser<\/h3>\n<p>Prismessig kan du f\u00e5 en brukbar Z3 (1995-2002) for mellom 60-80 000 kr med rundt 2 hundre tusen km p\u00e5 telleren &#8211; i alminnelig bruksstand. P\u00e5 grunn av alder, finnes det ogs\u00e5 biler som er &#8211; eller b\u00f8r regnes som &#8211; rene reparasjonsobjekter. V\u00e6r oppmerksom p\u00e5 at BMW er kjent for \u00e5 holde stive dele- og verkstedspriser. Z3 er utvilsomt en BMW-klassiker &#8211; og er i ferd med \u00e5 g\u00e5 fra v\u00e6re bruksbiler til samlerbiler.
