Den nye plattformen ble kalt <em>VH Platform<\/em> hvor V st\u00e5r for Vertikal og H for Horisontal. Betydningen kan muligens spille p\u00e5 <em>modularitet<\/em> &#8211; et konsept som kan benyttes p\u00e5 et bredt modellprogram? Uansett, s\u00e5 er plattformen basert p\u00e5 et limt og naglet aluminiums-chassis med forsterkninger av karbonfiber kompositt. VH-plattformen finnes i 4 versjoner &#8211; den f\u00f8rste ble alts\u00e5 benyttet til DB9. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Modellhistorikk<\/h3>\n<p>Aston Martin DB9 ble produsert fra 2004 til 2016 &#8211; alle med V12 motorer med 456 hk. Det ble gjort sm\u00e5 endringer frem til \u00e5rsmodell 2013. Da fikk bilene en ganske kraftig makeover. Den f\u00f8rste endringen kom i 2008. Av visuelle endringer kan nevnes annet nye ribber i grillen og nye sidespeil. I tillegg ble antall hestekrefter \u00f8kt til 470 og ny versjon av automatkassa fra ZX som Aston Martin kaller <em>Touchtronic II<\/em>. I 2010 kom det en ny, mindre facelift hvor st\u00f8tfangeren foran fikk en ny utforming. Det ble ogs\u00e5 gjort sm\u00e5 endringer p\u00e5 framskjermene. I 2012 ble hele fronten omarbeidet p\u00e5 en s\u00e5nn m\u00e5te at det kan v\u00e6re vanskelg \u00e5 se at det dreier seg om en DB9. Linjene bakover former seg i en integrert hekkspoiler. Bilene fikk ogs\u00e5 flere hestekrefter, n\u00e5 totalt 517 hk.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Om bildet<\/h3>\n<p>Fotografiet er tatt i et hyggelig boligomr\u00e5de rundt Knightsbridge i London.
