Den helt nye modellen skal i f\u00f8lge Daimler AG v\u00e6re helt omarbeidet, men holdt i den velkjente stilen vi alle kjenner. Vi som er norske, husker kanskje bilen fra f\u00f8rstegangstjenester, repetisjons\u00f8velser og HV-\u00f8velser. De av oss som har levd lenge, husker hvordan bilen ble fremstilt som b\u00f8rstraktorer p\u00e5 80-tallet. Gjerne parkert med to hjul opp p\u00e5 fortauet p\u00e5 Frogner et sted. Da var ikke SUV like vanlig. Likevel hadde vi kj\u00f8ret\u00f8y som Chevy Blazer og Suburban, Toyota Landcruiser, Nissan Patrol og Mitsubishi Pajero, samt den litt mindre Jeep Cherokee. Stedet er MercedesWorld ved Brooklands, Weybridge i Surrey utenfor London. Det st\u00e5r p\u00e5 todo-listen min. Man m\u00e5 bestille p\u00e5 forh\u00e5nd p\u00e5 nettet. G 63 har AMGs 4-liters V8 biturbo bensinmotor. Den yter 585 HK og s\u00f8rger for at 0-100 skjer p\u00e5 4,5 sekunder og toppfart p\u00e5 219 km\/t.
