Solid, enkel og intuitiv. P\u00e5 Type H finnes det en rekke geniale l\u00f8sninger. Da modellen kom i 1948, var det stor ettersp\u00f8rsel etter praktiske og rimelige kj\u00f8ret\u00f8y. 2CV og Type H var perfekte for sin tid. I ettertid kan man sp\u00f8rre seg om hva som fikk Citroen til \u00e5 produsere biler med b\u00f8lgeblikk, frittst\u00e5ende lyskastere og selvmordsd\u00f8rer helt frem til 1981. Grunnen er selvf\u00f8lgelig &laquo;sjarm&raquo;. Den samme grunnen til at b\u00e5de Type H og 2CV er popul\u00e6re den dag i dag.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Mange navn<\/h3>\n<p>Det usjarmerende navnet &laquo;Type H&raquo; ble gitt fordi det var forslag nummer 8 som ble godkjent. Det ble laget flere varianter. Mange firmaer spesialiserte seg p\u00e5 ombygging av bilene til spesielle nytteform\u00e5l. Bilene ble forlenget &#8211; forsterket &#8211; og gitt forskjellige p\u00e5bygg for \u00e5 tjenestegj\u00f8re i private og offentlige n\u00e6ringer. Type H g\u00e5r ofte under navnet &laquo;Modell H&raquo;, &laquo;H Van&raquo; og &laquo;HY&raquo;. Selvb\u00e6rende karosseri og forhjulsdrift for god utnyttelse av innvendig plass.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nMotorene ble f\u00f8rst hentet fra Traction Avant, deretter fra 1,9-litersmotoren fra ID19. Den yter om lag 60 HK ved 3800 omdreininger. Da jeg sjekket biler til salgs i mellom- og S\u00f8r-Europa, fikk jeg bekreftet at den 1911 ccm store bensinmotoren er utbredt. Ogs\u00e5 en 1,6-liter bensinmotor finnes i mange biler &#8211; med tilsvarende ytelser. Fra slutten av 60-tallet og utover finnes flere biler med dieselmotorer, med ytelser mellom 50 og 70 HK. Etter hvert som prisene p\u00e5 folkevognbusser og van&#8217;er har skutt i v\u00e6ret, begynner flere \u00e5 s\u00f8ke etter alternativer. Citroen Type H er et godt alternativ og ikke like kostbare som gamle VW-busser. Citroen er f\u00f8rst og fremst utbredt som Food Truck. Som hobbybil er den ogs\u00e5 popul\u00e6r som nostalgisk campingbil &#8211; og selvf\u00f8lgelig som varebiler med gamle firmalogoer p\u00e5 siden. Under produksjonen ble mange deler hentet fra samtidige Citroen-modeller. Det gjelder for eksempel lykter, brytere og instrumenter.
