Jaguar XK140 ble f\u00f8rste gang vist p\u00e5 London Motor Show h\u00f8sten 1954, som etterf\u00f8lger etter XK120. Rekkesekseren p\u00e5 3,4 liter ble bragt videre fra XK120, men hadde n\u00e5 f\u00e5tt 190 HK. I likhet med forgjengeren kunne man f\u00e5 motor med C-Type topp hentet fra racerbilen med samme navn. Det ga 210 hk &#8211; og gjorde XK140 til en superbil for sin tid.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nJaguar tilb\u00f8d 3 varianter &#8211; Open Two Seater roadster med nedsenkede d\u00f8rer uten utvendige d\u00f8rh\u00e5ndtak, Drop Head Coup\u00e9 med nedfellbar topp og Fixed Head Coup\u00e9 med fast tak. Av ekstrautstyr fantes det mulighet for \u00e5 velge hvitt Bl\u00fcmel-ratt, hvite dekksider, bagasje-rack, t\u00e5kelys, &#8211; for ikke \u00e5 snakke om tettsteget girkasse og doble I f\u00f8lge bilens chassisnummer er det en XK140 3,4 SE Open Two Seater. &laquo;SE&raquo; inneb\u00e6rer at det sitter en C-type topp (twin cam som stammer fra racerbilen C-Type). Det gir ekstre 20 HK &#8211; til sammen 213 HK. Den andre hvite bilen (L140) er ogsp en Open Two Seater fotografert utenfor Norsk kj\u00f8ret\u00f8yhistorisk museum ved Hunderfossen. Den m\u00f8rke bilen med norske registreringsnumre er en XK140 Fixed Head Coupe 3,4 med 193 HK. Den er fotografert alene og i sammen med en Drophead Coupe p\u00e5 Norsk Jaguarklubbs v\u00e5rm\u00f8nstring, Fornebu 2025. Den svarte bilen med britiske registreringsnumre st\u00e5r p\u00e5 <em>Cotswold Motoring Museum<\/em>. Den hvite bilen med svenske skilter er fotografert samme sted.
