Men modellen la grunnlaget for en moderne 911 &#8211; og den f\u00f8rste GT3.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Flere s\u00e6rpreg<\/h3>\n<p>Porsche 911 996 ble produsert mellom 1997 og 2006. Det ble en 911 som mer enn noen annen skulle bryte med forgjengeren &#8211; og kanskje ogs\u00e5 etterf\u00f8lgere hva design ang\u00e5r. Porsche \u00f8nsket \u00e5 skape familielikhet mellom 911 og Boxster. Man kan se det p\u00e5 de s\u00e6regne frontlyktene. Bildet til h\u00f8yre er en Boxster fra samme tid, og viser likheten. Likheten med Boxster falt kanskje ikke i god jord hos alle, for etter facelift i 2002, fikk 996 nye frontlykter &#8211; og fra neste modell, 997, forsvant s\u00e6rpreget ved frontlyktene helt.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Slutt p\u00e5 luftavkj\u00f8ling<\/h3>\n<p>Den aller st\u00f8rste nyheten ved lanseringen av 996 var at 911 fra n\u00e5 av fikk vannavkj\u00f8lte motorer &#8211; ikke luftavkj\u00f8lte som lenge var et slags 911-varemerke. Porsche 996 ble levert i mange varianter. Carrera, Carrera 4, Carrera 4S, Turbo, Turbo S, GT2, GT3 og GT3 RS. Modellene Carrera og Carrera 4 kunne bli levert som Coupe, Targa og Cabriolet. Basismotoren er 3.6 liter, vannavkj\u00f8lt, 6-sylindret bokser med integrert t\u00f8rrsump sm\u00f8ring, 320 HK. Turbo og Turbo S har \u00f8kt ytelse, henholdsvis 420 og 450 HK. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2ingreslbcenter\">Carrera Coup\u00e9<\/h3>\n<p><figure id=\"attachment_81360\" Problement er kjent, og det er helt vanlig at ber\u00f8rte biler har f\u00e5tt byttet IMS. Et annet vanlig problem er en av simmeringene til veivakslingen ikke holder tett med f\u00f8lgende oljelekkasje.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<figure id=\"attachment_58999\"
