Etterf\u00f8lgeren som kom som 1977-modell, ble kortere og lettere. I kj\u00f8lvannet av oljekrisen \u00f8kte ettersp\u00f8rselen etter mindre biler. Ogs\u00e5 Cadillac m\u00e5tte downsize. Siste \u00e5rgang med store Cadillac&#8217;er ble 1976.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Endret hvert \u00e5r<\/h3>\n<p>Som andre popul\u00e6re amerikanske bilmodeller p\u00e5 denne tiden, skjedde det forandringer for hvert modell\u00e5r &#8211; gjerne godt synlige i fronten av bilen. Ta for eksempel grillen. I 1971 hadde den horisontale ribber, \u00e5ret etter st\u00e5ende ribber, etterfulgt av st\u00e5ende, rektangul\u00e6re ruter. S\u00e5, i 1974, ble grillen bredere med firkantede ruter, deretter mindre, firkantede ruter, st\u00f8rre ruter og til slutt liggende, rektangul\u00e6re ruter. Tilsvarende endringer skjedde ogs\u00e5 med de doble frontlysene, som f\u00f8rst hadde markeringslys i mellom lykteinnsatsene. Fra 1974 ble de flyttet ut i hj\u00f8rnet. Deville er tatt ved Solvik i B\u00e6rum. I f\u00f8lge eieren er det en 1975-modell. Bilen kom til Norge som arvegods etter at en 96 \u00e5r gammel dame fra New Jersey gikk bort. Hun brukte bilen helt til siste stund. I 1974 kom CoupeDeville med s\u00e5kalt Landau-top, et vinyltak som s\u00e5 ut som om bakre del av taket kunne felles ned.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nDen brune bilen er en 1971-modell, ogs\u00e5 det en Coupe DeVille og f\u00f8rste serien av DeVille generasjon 4. Den er fotografert mens den sto parkert p\u00e5 Fornebu.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Uten fender skirts<\/h3>\n<p>Jeg noterer meg at ingen av de avbildede bilene har beholdt sine &laquo;fender skirts&raquo;. Metallstykket som dekker hjulbuene bak, er typisk for klassiske, 70-talls amerikanske full-size biler, &#8211; men frav\u00e6ret av fender skirts gj\u00f8r faktisk at bilen ser mer moderne ut. Eieren av den gule 1975-modellen opplyste at festene dessuten var litt d\u00e5rlige. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<figure id=\"attachment_58120\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-58120\"
