En eldre Ford Transit camper gir like mye nostalgi som en Volkswagen Westfalia og gir mer plass til armsving inne i vognen.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Retro-camping med litt glam?<\/h3>\n<p>Et Pilote 360  Motorhome p\u00e5bygg p\u00e5 en Ford Transit mk2 var en flott vogn helt p\u00e5 begynnelsen av 80-tallet. Vi vet ikke om avbildet bil er original eller renovert med god smak og dyktig h\u00e5ndtverk.  Den var ikke til salgs, men kan vel gi ideer til andre Transit-prosjekter? Et kvalitetsp\u00e5bygg kan renoveres og eventuelt oppgraderes til dagens standard. Det er ikke like motiverende \u00e5 bruke tid og penger p\u00e5 \u00e5 restaurere en tilsvarende <em>campingvogn<\/em> uten \u00e5 ha &laquo;matchende&raquo; bil. Fordelen med et Transit-prosjekt er helhetsinntrykket. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Ford Transit mk2<\/h3>\n<p>Jeg skal likevel ikke overdrive gledene med Transit. Innvendig er f\u00f8rerplassen med hard 80-talls plast neppe det hyggeligste sted \u00e5 v\u00e6re. Jeg leste i en forum-tr\u00e5d mellom en potensiell kj\u00f8per av Transit mk2 Campingbil og to eiere, &#8211; en med 1982-modell bensin og en med 1985-modell diesel. Teknisk sett var begge bilene OK, men det b\u00f8r vel ligge i kortene at man ikke anskaffer en 40 \u00e5r gammel Transit uten at man betrakter det som et <em>prosjekt<\/em>. Hva eiere av Transit campingbiler var minst forn\u00f8yde med, var motorsst\u00f8y og at kj\u00f8ret\u00f8yet hadde lite krefter \u00e5 tilby i hastigheter over 80 km\/t.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Motorer<\/h3>\n<p>Ford tilb\u00f8d flere motorvalg til Transit. Men campingbilene tidlig p\u00e5 80-tallet s\u00e5 ut til enten \u00e5 ha f\u00f8lgende motorvalg: 2,0 &laquo;Pinto&raquo; motor p\u00e5 78 HK eller 2,5 dieselmotor p\u00e5 67 HK.
