Jeg husker det godt. Det var en stor nyhet. Skj\u00f8nt det var ikke Ford som oppfant det moderne minibilkonseptet. Biler som Fiat 127 og Renault 5 hadde allerede v\u00e6rt p\u00e5 markedet i flere \u00e5r. Vi kunne kanskje ogs\u00e5 ta med Peugeot 104. De var fine biler, men ingen <em>Ford<\/em>. Tannstang-styringen var direkte, det var clutch&#8217;en ogs\u00e5, &#8211; og 1,1-literen virket kvikk. P\u00e5 veien var den litt stumpete, men ikke mer enn man m\u00e5tte aksepterte p\u00e5 en 3,5 meters bil. Den kom i 1983 og Ford tenkte vel at etter 6-7 \u00e5r beh\u00f8vde man en ny modell, Mk2 og mk1 er alts\u00e5 samme modell. Mk2 fikk oppgradert interi\u00f8r, mer str\u00f8mlinjeformet front og 5-trinns girkasse. 1,1 OHV motoren fikk elektronisk tenning. Den gr\u00e5 bilen er fotografert p\u00e5 Ringebu- Det er en mk2 modell fra 1984. Den beige bilen i hovedbildet og den gr\u00e5bl\u00e5 bilen med svarte, franske registreringsnumre er begge fotografert p\u00e5 samme biltreff ved Carr\u00e9 d&#8217;Or, Perpignan 2024.
