Det skal ha for\u00e5rsaket hektisk m\u00f8tevirksomhet hos Ford i K\u00f6ln. De bestemte seg for \u00e5 endre sin egen, nylanserte modell, &#8211; gj\u00f8re den mer lik Opel Rekord, &#8211; eller mer lik sin egen forgjenger, den linjelekre P5. Det ble en facelift bare m\u00e5neder ute i P7&#8217;s livssyklus. Ford laget et glattere karosseri og glattet ut knekken over bakhjulene. St\u00f8tfangerne ble atter kr\u00f8llet rundt hj\u00f8rnene. Den faceliftede modellen fikk betegnelsen P7B, mens den kortlivede forgjengeren i dag omtales som P7A, eller P7\/1.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Den vakreste P7?<\/h3>\n<p>Jeg har h\u00f8rt at Ford besluttet seg for \u00e5 lage en ny modell etter bare 4 m\u00e5neder. Det gj\u00f8r P7A til en sjeldnere bil enn sin etterf\u00f8lger. Jeg vil ogs\u00e5 tilf\u00f8ye &laquo;t\u00f8ffere&raquo;, fordi i disse tider har jo bilindustrien funnet tilbake til skarpere linjer. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Mange varianter<\/h3>\n<p>P7-modellene kunne leveres i mange varianter, flere enn vi er vant til i dag. 2- og 4-d\u00f8rer sedan, coup\u00e9, hardtop coup\u00e9, 3- og 5-d\u00f8rer stasjonsvogn (Turnier). Motormessig var det 1500, 1500 og 1700S &#8211; alle V4 (60-85 HK), samt 2000 og 2300 V6. Jeg er ikke sikker p\u00e5 utstyrsvariantene, men de f\u00f8rste V4-motorene kunne leveres med b\u00e5de 3- og 4-trinns girkasser. B\u00e5de rattgir og gulvgir var tilgjengelig, samt benkesete eller separate seter foran.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2ingreslbcenter\">Ford P7A<\/h3>\n<p><figure id=\"attachment_70125\"
