Nye motorer og nye linjer.<\/p>\n<p>For \u00f8vrig er det sjelden \u00e5 se en Aston Martin med norsk registreringsnummer. Denne ble sett p\u00e5 Oksen\u00f8ya utenfor Oslo og er fra omkring 2000. Det er en Volante (cabriolet) 2+2 med V12 motor.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Modellhistorikk<\/h3>\n<p>DB7 ble utviklet og produsert fra 1994 til 2004 &#8211; hele tiden mens Ford eide Aston Martin. Ford eide som kjent ogs\u00e5 Jaguar i samme tidsrom, noe som f\u00f8rte til at Aston Martins nye bilmodell ble utviklet i et samarbeid med Jaguar. Eierselskapet Ford er jo kjent for \u00e5 ta i bruk eksisterende l\u00f8sninger i nye modeller. DB7 skulle alts\u00e5 benytte samme plattform som Jaguar XJS, skj\u00f8nt det skal ha blitt utf\u00f8rt mange modifikasjoner f\u00f8r det ble klart. Ogs\u00e5 motorene ble hentet fra Jaguar. Da produksjonen begynte, ble bilene utstyrt med Jaguars 3.2 liters rekkesekser med supercharging. Samtidig utviklet Aston Martin en ny V12 motorserie med teknisk og finansiell st\u00f8tte fra Ford. F\u00f8rst i 1999 kunne man f\u00e5 biler med V12 motor &#8211; markedsf\u00f8rt som DB7 Vantage.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tebh2\">Motorisering<\/h3>\n<p>Aston Martin&#8217;s V12 er en 5.9-liter selvaspirerende aluminiums-motor med 48 ventiler og 4 kamaksler bygget av Cosworth Engineering. Denne motoren dannet grunnlag for etterf\u00f8lgende modeller. I DB7 fikk motoren 420 hk. Da kunne biler med fast tak gj\u00f8re 0-100 p\u00e5 5,0 sekunder med en oppgitt toppfart p\u00e5 296 km\/t. Aston Martin har lenge benyttet &laquo;Vantage&raquo; for sine toppmodeller. I dette tilfellet biler med V12-motor. S\u00e5 n\u00e5r man oppsummerer de ulike variantene av DB7 finner man: <em>DB7<\/em>, <em>DB7 Volante<\/em>, <em>DB7 Vantage<\/em> og <em>DB7 Vantage Volante<\/em>. N\u00e5r biler importeres til Norge, blir det ikke alltid benyttet korrekte modellbetegnelser. Det kan v\u00e6re forvirrende.
